Her work is full of texture, shimmer and contrast, piecing together materials using techniques and craft skills borrowed from traditional mosaic, glass, metal and ceramic art. Denise creates sculptural and wall based artwork for gardens, interior and exterior spaces and is fascinated by distorted reflections and the dramatic impact that light can have on her work. She often limits her palette to include only weather resistant materials, allowing the natural elements of rainfall and light to interact, creating atmospheric reflections of the surrounding environment. |
